Born and educated in Austria, Walter started his tennis development at age 9 and played the European and International Tennis Federation Circuit for 4 years. After competing in the professional circuit until 1987, he decided to pursue a career in the tennis industry. Walter started coaching tennis full time at the CDL Racquet Club in 1985 and became director for the CDL Junior Programs in 1986. In 2008, Walter became the tennis director at Club CDL, in charge of all tennis operations.
1000’s of kids have been introduced to tennis under Walter’s supervision, and many hundreds of young athletes have been able to pursue a tennis scholarship or career because of his passion for the game.

Born and raised in Montreal, Catherine began playing tennis at the Dorval tennis club. Catherine mainly competed at the provincial level and was consistently ranked within the top 10 in Quebec in her age category throughout her junior career. Catherine also has experience at the national level representing Quebec at the Canadian Nationals on multiple occasions and playing on the ITF circuit.
Catherine now plays NCAA Division I tennis on an athletic scholarship at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Catherine has a few years of coaching experience and is excited to share her knowledge and passion for the game with the Dorval community.

Now a CEGEP student, Alec's love for tennis started at the young age of 4. He spent his youth summers on the municipal courts of Lachine and Dorval, running after all the balls that came his way. He developed a passion for the sport which translated into him doing high-performance tennis at Tennis 13 during his elementary and high school years. Throughout the years, Alec has gained a lot of experience on and off the court that reflects his coaching style. His goals are to share his passion for the sport and to make sure they have fun all while developing athletic and technical abilities.

Joachim Viladevall is a tennis enthusiast from Spain. He picked up a racket at the age of six and hasn't looked back since. Growing up, he competed in junior ITF tournaments across Spain and Quebec, fueling his passion for the game.
Transitioning into coaching and sparring, he has spent the last few years sharing his love for tennis with others. He prides himself on tailoring his coaching to each player's needs, fostering growth and development on and off the court.
Tennis isn't just a sport for him—it's a way of life. Joachim is constantly seeking new challenges and opportunities to improve, both as a player and a coach. With every lesson taught and match played, he strives to make a positive impact on the tennis community, one swing at a time. |
