Joining our Club ladder and Club league is a fantastic way to meet new players at the club and enhance your singles match-playing skills. Participation in both ladders and leagues is reserved for members.

Ladders

In ladders, players are arranged similarly to the rungs of a ladder, aiming to reach the top. The concept is akin to "king of the mountain." As you win, you move up the ladder by taking the place of the higher-ranked opponent you defeated. Our club's ladder matches are arranged through challenges, where players simply challenge each other and schedule their matches.

We offer three club ladders:

• Open Ladder: Open to men, ladies, and juniors.
• Ladies’ Ladder
• Junior’s Ladder

How to Sign Up

The league is self-managed via the Wotscore sport ladder website. A Wotscore account is free and requires an email, Facebook, Google, Apple, or Slack account to register.

Suggested Match Formats:

The recommended format for our Club Ladders is a single American set (first to win 10 games) with no advantage, meaning sudden death at 40-40. At 40-40, the receiver decides the side for the serve. If court reservation ends before the match is completed, the player in the lead wins.

Other acceptable match formats (if both players agree and court time permits):

• Best 2 of 3 sets with tie-breaks
• Best 2 of 3 sets with the 3rd set being a super tiebreaker (to 10, with at least a 2-point difference)
• A single set
• No advantage games to accelerate play

Ladder Rules:

• Matches must be played at the club with standard court reservations.
• The challenger can only challenge players up to 3 places above their current position.
• Challenges expire after 5 days, after which the challenger wins by default.
• Maximum simultaneous challenges: Two up, two down.
• You cannot be challenged if your status is set to 'away'.
